Condition Report: (1) Refinished pressed oak case in nice condition Original paper dial is badly worn. Original hands, tablet and pendulum; (2) Pressed oak case in original finish in nice condition. Original paper dial has some surface abrasion and a poor repair at eight o'clock. Original hands, pendulum and worn tablet. This firm was in business from 1890-1915 and had clocks manufactured for them.

Condition Report: (1) The case retains its dark original finish. There is some veneer loss along the base. The painted dial has loss in the lower right corner. The hands are period but mismatched. The door tablets are both original with minor loss. The lower shows P. T. Barnum's Villa Iranstan" which was destroyed by fire in 1854 while the other shows Ballston Springs; (2) The case has some original finish which is sparse in areas. The painted dial has darkened with age. The hands are replacements. The door glass gilt designs are in good condition but have lost some of their black backing. ***NOTES*** The dimensions are for clock number one.

Condition Report: overall these three clocks shown signs of good care and are ready to enjoy. The Ansonia is in very good original condition, with super dial, original peacock tablet and nicely crazed finish, & good label on rear of case.. The Gilbert is also in great condition with original glass [see book], pressed glass pendulum, dial and hands. The Chicago has lost a little of the gold leaf from its columns and there is some crazing and loss of finish, but still overall a nice example of this model, with superior inside label.

(3) The rosewood veneered case has been refinished. The dial appears to have been repainted. The hands are original. The upper door glass is original. The door mirror appears to have been resilvered on old glass. (4) The case has minor veneer loss along the base. The case was refinished some time ago. The original painted dial has a finish coat to stop reduce the paint flaking. The hands are original. Note: The largest dimension is for clock number 4.

Condition Report: (1) The case finish is original. There is veneer loss on both right and left base returns. The original paper dial has aged. The hands are correct. Both door glasses are original (2) The case has original finish and is in nice condition. The paper dial is in good condition. The hands may be replacements. The upper and lower door glasses are original with some restoration to the lower glass. (3) This clock, though unidentified, is pictured on page 498 of Tran Duy Ly's Book on Welch Clocks. The case has a very light finish and has one small area of damage on the top molding. Overall the case is in very nice condition. The painted dial is in very good condition with very little loss. The hands are original. (4) The case is in excellent condition with a light finish remaining. The paper dial shows some age. The hands are period and may be correct. The door glasses are both original. The movement is signed.
